Notes | Taken into departmental service as a water carrier numbered CDS70182 in 1962. Sold for preservation February 1977. Some official sources quote a coal capacity of 4.25 tons for these tenders. The number 2922 is actually the number allocated by the SR to this tender. It is not known at present if this number is still carried. It is also not known if the SECR numbered their tenders, the plate carried on the back the tank is the locomotive number. |
