Notes 2859 arrived at Woodham Bros, Barry with a Churchward 3500 gallon tender, the disposal of which is unknown. It was sold with Churchward 3500 gallon tender no 2329 from Collett 2884 class 2-8-0 no. 3845. Subsequently this tender was dismantled for spares to enable the Erlestoke Manor Fund to build a new tender with the same number. Since then 2859 has not had a tender.
