Notes Built as a standard WD Riddles 5000 gallon tender. Sold to NS (Dutch Railways) in 1945 and sold on to SJ (Swedish Railways) in 1953. To enable the Austerity 2-8-0 loco it was coupled with to fit on turntables the tender was shortened in Sweden making it three axles instead of four. Reimported into the UK in January 1973 with SJ 2-8-0 no 1931 (formerly WD no 79257) it ran in preservation until 1976. During the locomotive's restoration from 1990 onwards a replacement four axle chassis was found and a new tank built. It is believed that after the removal of some parts this three axle tender was scrapped at an unknown date. Metric capacities were 16300 litres of water and 6.5 tonnes of coal.
