Notes Built for Tasmanian Government Railway. This design was used with both M and H class locos. Ran with H class 4-8-2 no. H2 from 1951-1972 when the tender was withdrawn as it was in poor condition. Then attached to M class 4-6-2 no. M2 though this loco had been out of service since 1961 so M2 has never run in service with this tender. Initially preserved at Stanley in Australia and imported to the UK in 1992. The original tank was sold for scrap in late 1978 while the loco was still based in Australia.
