| Notes | This is thought to be the tender that arrived at Woodham Bros, Barry with LMS 8F class 2-8-0 no. 48173. The loco and tender were intially stored at Hull Dairycoates depot from 1987-1991 and during this time the tank was removed from the chassis. After purchase by 45163 Ltd the chassis was moved to the Colne Valley Railway and the tank to another site. It is not known if the tank, which was considered beyond restoration, still exists. A new welded tank will be fitted in due course and the chassis requires a new front dragbox and possibly new inner frames. It is not intended to refit the water scoop. |
