Notes | Number is based on stamped numbers found on pipe flanges. Tank has not been replaced since preservation but will be replaced when restoration starts according to the Railway Magazine August 2014. Believed to have been used as a water carrier for CCE Heavy Duty Steam Crane DW72 (later DRT80172). This crane was scrapped in late 1982 but the tender had been stored at Swindon Works since at least October 1980. It was sold from Swindon for preservation. |
