Notes | Tender arrived at Woodham Bros, Barry scrapyard attached to LSWR S15 class no. 30499. Number is based on the last known tender recorded with this loco. Front dragbox has been replaced and height altered since preservation to match U class footplate. Tender was built with flat sides. During restoration circa 1994/1995 much of the top of the tender was replaced and the coal plates were altered to a curved pattern as many of this type of tender had in SR/BR days. Following fire damage at Ropley in 2010 the rear of the tank has been replaced. |
