| Notes | Was one of two tenders acquired with the group of 'Barry 10' locos bought by West Glamorgan Council. In poor condition it was donated to the LMS Patriot Co. for use with the new build LMS Patriot 4-6-0 number 45551. Tank removed and scrapped. However the chassis was also found to be too corroded and replaced by 3918 (q.v.). Scrapping of 3446 is thought to have taken place sometime between 2010 and 2012. Arrived at Woodham Bros, Barry behind LMS Crab 42765. Tender number is based on the last tender shown as allocated to this loco by BR records. Photo taken June 1975 |
