Notes | Identity of the tender is unknown. It was bought direct from BR and was last coupled to J27 class 0-6-0 no.65882 but no identity plates were on it when purchased. The last recorded tender attached to 65882 was number 8508. New tank built by Adam Dalgleish Engineering. The new tank appears to be of welded construction whereas the original was flush riveted. At the last overhaul completed in 2018 the front third of the tender frames were repaired and strengthening plates added. As at February 2017 the original tank still existed at Adam Dalgleish's yard. |
