Notes Chassis is from Stanier 3500 gallon tender number 4625. The original Stanier tank was removed from the chassis in February 1988. It retains plain bearing axleboxes but the axlebox covers have been altered to give the impression of roller bearing axleboxes. The type of tank fitted seems to match the general design of a BR1G. The actual water and coal capacity are not known but are presumed to be smaller than the 5000 gallon 7 ton capacity of an original BR1G tender as the wheelbase is 6 inches shorter. The original Stanier 3500 gallon tank has been reused on the Stanier 3500 gallon/Johnson hybrid tender number 4648 (q.v.)
