Notes This tender was initially built as a Johnson 4100 gallon bogie tender in 1902 or 1903. In 1909 the 4100 gallon tank was transferred to a new Deeley 3 axle chassis. The Johnson tank was replaced with a Fowler 3500 gallon, probably sometime in the 1930's. Thus none of the original bogie tender survives in the current version. It is intended to replace the tank at the next overhaul. Information on the history of this tender is from Midland Railway Locomotives Volume 4 by Stephen Summerson
