Notes Arrived at Woodham Bros, Barry attached to 42968. Tender number is based on the last tender shown as allocated to this loco by BR records. During the tender's first restoration between 1974 and 1990 the water scoop was removed and the inner frames of the tender replaced. Tank replaced sometime between 1995 and 1998. The water capacity has been increased by building the tank 3 inches wider on each side Tender restoration is complete. Work on the locomotive continues. The photo shows the tender at Woodham Bros, Barry before restoration.
